Your full-day city tour of Addis Ababa begins after breakfast with a visit to the National Museum, home to one of the world’s most important paleontological discoveries, the famous fossil “Lucy,” along with a fascinating collection of archaeological artifacts, ancient relics, and traditional art that tell the story of Ethiopia’s rich history. From there, you will continue to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the most important Orthodox church in the city, where you can admire its beautiful stained glass windows and the resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie and other members of the royal family.
The tour continues to Mount Entoto, the historic site where Emperor Menelik II established his capital before moving it to Addis Ababa.
