I have an educational diploma in Tour Guiding from the lion Ethiopia Tourism, Hotel and Business college, a private higher education institute, and from Catering and Tourism Training Institute, both based in the capital Addis Ababa. I am fluent in English, with certified training in french languages skills, and have completed a wide variety of courses including the following, tour guide technique, customer handling/tourist behaviors, professional ethics, tour operations, catering, Bird and plant identification. I have worked as a local guide at the Bale Mountains National park and its nearby destinations for over 8 years with the Nyala tour guide association and have built a wealth of experience in that time.
We take pride in the planning of the various trips we offer and take our responsibilities within tourism very seriously, working within protected areas, we will show you the best of Ethiopia wildlife, some species being endemic to the country, and explain the culture of each area. protecting the environment in the wilderness areas and campsites we visit is of great importance to us and we ensure that services we provide, in terms of hours/riding gear hire, porters, cooks, etc are of the highest standard available. this ensures that food and drink are well catered for, tents are pitched where needed and our guests’ activities have no environmental impact at each destination. Every guest is unique and as such, we treat them and their wishes as individuals.
