About the Founder
The founder of Bale Trek Ethiopia Tours, Mohammed, was born and raised in Dinsho, a small town located in the heart of the Bale Mountains National Park. He studied Tour Guiding Services at one of Ethiopia’s leading tourism training institutes. His deep passion for travel and the country’s fascinating historical and natural attractions led him into a profession he truly adores.
With more than 13 years of experience as a tour guide and organizer, Mohammed has led and managed groups across all corners of Ethiopia. He has also worked with film crews, research teams, and professional photographers, gaining valuable skills that allow him to handle clients in a flexible, friendly, and professional way.
His expertise spans a wide range of tours, including trekking, birdwatching, historical journeys, and cultural explorations. Inspired by his love for Ethiopia’s history and traditions, Mohammed decided to share his passion with visitors by establishing his own travel company, Bale Trek Ethiopia Tours.
Enthusiastic about meeting people from around the world, Mohammed is dedicated to helping travelers experience Ethiopia’s breathtaking landscapes and rich heritage.
